call athm you may have a problem between the pole and your screen, anywhere along the route. i've had the service about a year and in the first few mos my complaints were frequent, but the response was satisfactory. don't give up! lnk

Right now, I'm happy with my local ISP. $99.00 a year for un-metered, un-censored access at 55,100 bps. Have not experienced one single busy signal, nor has my connection ever been dropped, except natural and regional bell problems which are very rare. @HOME is not yet available in my town, but as soon as it is, I'll give it a shot.
