Nothing illegal about an anylist giving his opinion. Do you realize that they have clients who might want to buy into BII anyway, regardless of one of the companies reports? Before you all get whiney on me:
1) I like BII, I just think the big money will be taking it back down for a while.
2)I do not shortsell
3)I have seen this exact same trading pattern with other stocks
3)I will be buying back in under $2.45 within 1 week

Brokerages do this all the time. Either triple arms length associates are short, and would like to cover lower, or triple arms length big clients want into a good stock.

So the brokerage gives a downgrade, or puts a spin on some news. Which of course people forget when real good news comes out, or the stock continues in its good fortunes, or even the same brokerage upgrades again.

Sometimes more than one brokerage teams up on this too for a bigger effect.
