Alberta Energy is big time and they have the larger view in mind when they work on a project or with another company. They are also a direct seller of natural gas to the USA market. With that in mind they must plan a exploration/production program that keeps them ahead of the competition. They would be very interest in this play because they would gain a tremendous edge on the other suppliers of natural gas if they could save money on transportation costs and if they had a way to store gas for high demand times. They could then get a premium price.

Cheers,

JR.

Consider this. If you were AEC and were looking to move into the U.S. market where the "real money" is, how would you go about it. Answer: Buy into a company that already has established interests in the U.S. and one which has the potential to make headlines throughout the country if they happen to find a large alternate source of cheap energy.(ie. CBM deposit!) JMHO.
