WARNING! Watch out on OTC movers! Issued the following for Scottrade customers: "Please be aware that OTC marketmakers have turned off their auto-execution feature on hot internet/technology stocks and are handling them on a "best efforts" basis...ie they will manually look at and fill orders. This can result in slower executions, especially during fast markets. Scottrade" Slower? Any slower and... This type of thing is important to keep in mind. I know Schwab turns on a feature in bear market situations that rejects certain share-number stops, and I know other brokers have similar restrictions. Please be cautious, make sure you don't take your online services for granted... most computer networks are notorious for being fragile at best. These are built to uphold stock market investing, not Las Vegas gambling! When orders fail to go thru and prices go down simultaneously, it isn't conspiracy, it's business as usual. Good job on the upside, folks, now let's see how you handle the downside. Impressed so far.
