Thanks, Rick, I'll try that next time. It's just seemed to me that whenever I've tried to hit an ISLD bid or offer, I've been deleted because of a crossing or locking violation.

I've had the same experience as Tom. In your example, if I bid 500 shares at 50 3/16 (recall Island is asking 50 3/16 for 600 shares), I'll get the cross/locked market msg. If I bid my 500 shares at 50 1/4, would I get filled at 50 3/16 assuming no one bid a split second before me?
