>>>Could this have caused today's drop?

Probably not...because CKFR just signed a 6 year agreement with EDS to be the remittance engine at Banks sites.

I did find something really interesting though in your press....

Oracle's e-commerce bill and present technologies can deliver bills through a biller's own branded Web site. Alternatively, these technologies can route bills for presentment to any number of bill consolidators or Consumer Service Providers (CSPs) such as TransPoint or Quicken.com. The plan is for billers and consolidators using Oracle technology to be able to interface directly with EDS Interactive Billing Services, enabling bill presentation through the EDS service. Billers and consolidators are expected to be able to use EDS Interactive Billing Services for bill payment and settlement.

Last sentence...isn't that interesting...since CheckFree has a 6 year agreement to be EDSs' Payment Engine. SO a presented Bill by TransPoint to an EDS Bank could get paid by CKFR? Think so boys...Quicken.com is of no concern since CKFR has that one in the bag. EDS is Big. So what is TransPoint gonna do?

The three steps...1) creation, 2) deliver & 3)payment. Orcale wants #1 they are already there..it's a natural enhancement of software.

CheckFree 'Owns #2' as far as distribution points to Banks via prior market success and the alliance with Integrion, and EDS gives them #3 for 6 years. And that don't include Bell & Howell which also want's #1, and gives CheckFree #2 & #3.
