This question is probably answered here before. But as you can see on my profile, I'm lazy for lack of better word. How do you pick (compile) the stock to daytrade? Anyone?

TIA.

Rick,

Excellent explanation. I have, however, discovered I was doing something really stupid that also gave me rejections for crossing. Perhaps others with little experience can benefit from my stupidity. It has been my practice to double click on the MM with the best bid if I'm looking to get out, vice versa if I'm trying to buy. Then I check the "Selecnet Preference" box so that if I really need to get out and ISLD is nowhere to be found, I can hopefully fill using the MM with the best price. If I can fill using ISLD I will. But here's the thing. Even if I click on "Sell ISLD" while the "SNET Pref" box is checked, the order will be put through as if I clicked on "Sell Selectnet". I only noticed this today, so God knows how many times I've done this and actually gotten filled. Please, no jokes. I'll crawl back into my cage now.
