I am sorry for being so negative, but I can't help it. I have held this dog from day one, rode it up and down.
Should have got out at 110 but I was too dam greedy. I will look back at this as a learning experience.
When I see news from 3COM, Cisco, Lucent, Alcatel, Netspeed, Aware, Copper Mountain, PainGain,
Paradyn, and others I may have missed, that post new things that are going on, it makes me
sad to see that Westell has no new things to SHARE with us "the share holders".
It does not matter if a company has the best product in the world. What matters is,…..can they
Market and Sell it. Do they have what it takes to negotiate contracts? Public perception is a great force that
can work for or against a company. If a company has no news to SHARE then it may be perceived as a stagnate
company,……a company that is going no where. From this logic I can only ASSUME that they may be planing
on exiting the ADSL Market. Even MZ himself said that Westell will not post anything that is not of substance.
Which means Westell has nothing of substance going on that they can post. The logic is pure and simple.
The news on Lucent's web page about Westell is real old. It needs to be updated and rehash, to show
the pubic that the relationship is still strong.
Maybe things will turn around in 1999 for Westell's ADSL,……if not they will be forced out of the ADSL market.
All in my own opinion.
