Wall Street fat cats have had the goooooood life for far too long;
they're not going to give it up without a fight....they hate the
democratization of trading through the internet. They have been
f*cking the little guy for so long and have gotten very rich off
it....they are loathe to share the wealth.....

Anybody catch the article on John Merriweather in Fortune? He
ran LTCM (into the ground); still has his job at LTCM and his 30 bathroom estate in Westchester.......

If they really want to get at the problems in the market--- START with the MMs! Next, remove the vocal chords of some of CNBC's finest and some of their guests. See the news regarding WAVO/Cramer. Nothing else need be said about where the problems are.

Tom

Kernan works for CNBC - and CNBC works for the mm's !!!!
It's so obvious the mm's have LOST THEIR SHIRTS on these internets - and it is so nice to see, Now they are having the media try and trash the nets - but I don't buy it. People are going to continue to get in on co.'s that are just changing over to internet based sales because it means so much added profitablity to them.

Case in point - SME - HUGE VOLUME today - and could triple easy next few trading sessions what with their yet to be announced E-tialing web site - check it out at servicemerchandise.com
