Millionairess, The motive for CMGI's 4 for 1 may be to do a 2 for 1 and then have enough for use as currency to purchase other companies with. As you know nobody wants cash for a company these days as one must pay "capital gains" taxes on the $ appreciation.

I'm trying to figure out who will buy LCOS. Maybe CMGI will buy them back. Who knows. LCOS needs to partner because of the NSCP/AOL deal. I'm heavy into LCOS right now. They were not put on the 50% margin account requirement by the brokerage firms. CMGI was.

IMHO this downturn is not the big one. The big one will come next year when the FED has lowered interest rates as low as it can to save the economy .....ditto for European economies ....and the IMF has finally run out of free money. The tax payers will revolt and will not approve bailing out the pacific rim and S.America. That is when the shit will hit the fan

Remember, don't be the last one to find a chair when the music stops. If you can't find one, and if I can.......I will , of course ....give you mine. DWW II

Dear Millionairess.. I hope you will make one out of me But jokes aside 2:1 split is coming on 12/17,,, good luck Magnifique... BTW technically chart look very unhealthy, but with margin cut and no ability to short for day traders Internet stocks undergoing well deserved pullback
