Well I anybody wants me to sell their creditable program I will sell it til I am blue in the face and give him 70%. I will website it and post it and ad it until hell freezeth over. But I would not advise stringency in licensing. And I would not advise steepness in price. 90% of all programs can sell for less than 50 bucks and you will make millions if they are any good. After all you do not have to pay publishing or distribution or packaging or anyother crap. Taxes are up to you. Those fledgling entrepreneurs who demand 80 to 150 bucks for programs sold over the webn are dreanming. Unless it was an entire OS with 200 megs of code I would say the had better have a cup. I might pay 50 bucks for a complete office system or a complete set of printer drivers for Linux but those kind of prices sans manual sans guarantee and with single programmer support are too steep for most people. And they don't reflect the cost saving engendered in web distribution. That factor is about 80% of shrink wrapped costs.
