Yes, I think it could be an EGGS like restructuring or some variation therof, like keeping the smaller newer stores only. There is a chance that it could be a takeover, but whenever I think who would want them I draw a blank.

Best Stores went chap 11. No more similar competition. No jewelry competitors in the same model. Why would anyone want to buy a store that cannot make a go of it?

But still the debt needs paid. . .and they have a good management team and have proven they can make internet work. . . uh. . .

Come to think of it. . . the "three performance news releases" could only contain
1. same store sales...heard it [not good]
2. Christmas biz
3. Internet biz

If they were going to launch an EGGS type business model, then how better to convince shareholders than with exceptional internet sales and Christmas sales via internet. Sort of a one - two punch. . .what were those dates for other releases?

I hope news is overnight, but I am beginning to think that the rumor is 2 weeks early. Just turned from leaning toward takeover to confident of EGGS-like model. Makes great sense.

They have total infrastructure in place and they have website. They could announce a new cooler, improved, friendlier, site at some later date, tho it almost doesn't matter. Yup. . . makes total sense.

I don't know why we didn't deduce this earlier.
