Question: Are internet stocks really overvalued? There is a fine new magazine out there by the title of Business 2.0. Read the November issue. You can read it online at business2.com

Many of the fundamentalists (Like the CNBC crew and many of their honorable guests) feel that internet stocks are ridiculously overvalued. Are they, really? Just because the balance sheet doesn't look good? New companies and new technologies must to WHATEVER it takes to become the leader. This includes returning every penny and then some back to the business.

What was Columbus' return on investment 3 months or 3 years after he left for the new world? Probably not much right? Well, what is it worth now?

I guarantee that there are a few stocks out there of companies that have ugly balance sheets and that have been "raked over the coals" by the old school fundamentalists that will be worth hundreds of dollars a share in the next 5 years. There are plenty more Yahoos and AOLs out there. I just need to find them. :)
