thomas, the north koreans can't afford to buy a hotdog never mind a dram. btw, visits to our forces by senior generals including members of the joint chiefs are routine prior to a presidential visit. the north koreans like all other socialistic dictatorships, i.e., cuba (fidel), iraq(saddam), the former ussr(kruschev), the former e. germany(ulrich), libya(khadafi), etc.,etc.,etc., are all paranoid. they regularly make fearful but threatening statements. i am certain that we do have very precise target plans for the suspected nuke sites. and their fear is appropriate. i just don't buy this lengthy timetable for action that they have set out. we have very strong forces in s.korea and ready plans for reinforcement. the n koreans are just pissed that we are demanding something in return for the free food that we are sending them. unclewest
