Apparently, as always, you failed to see that the whole market is down. I think it's down 3 out of 4 days!

Well Tech, one day of trading left for the big $145. It must be a hell of a day tomorrow. The speculators better fill up on MSFT stock early tomorrow.

You got me on this one. However, I think we should see a sharp move up for a couple of days. It won't much to hit high 140s before earnings and probably 150s after the release. This stock can move up pretty quickly if the markets do well.
There must be some analysts out there who want raise their estimates (for this or next year) or upgrade (most have it as strong buy) the stock. They may be just waiting til about a week before earnings so that they get more exposure in the business media.
