The big discounters are starting to get interested in doing some sales over the Internet - Costco is hiring developers here in Seattle to gear up an on-line store and K-Mart, Target and WallMart plan to roll out new sites that compete aggressively ON PRICE.

These are the glory days of the Internet tulip bulb festival in which the grey skies of competition are still off on the horizon.
