Hello Bob,
I went to the article and noticed a 6 month old date. Gold is the same price so it probably does not matter anyway.
The despair in the gold community is rampant and for good reason - the low price and sinking share prices under the weight of inertia is brutalizing.
Behind the scenes, the case for a gold price explosion continues to build. The dollar is under attack from the Mid and Far East, Brazil looks shaky, and the Fed is going to run out of interest rate cuts at some point. At that point the contango will be low, gold loans will not be so attractive, and competitive investments will also not be that attractive. When that occurs, the price of gold takes off as the shorts try to cover ( borrowings ) and cannot do so without paying way up.
