thomas have you been holding up the rdram info from ibm?
this from the yahoo thread.

On the news section the last news item was posted on Nov 18 plus one after that initiating the
coverage. From Nov 18 till now Dec 3 no news item was posted although several news items about
RAMBUS are in trade journals since then and especially after comdex which were posted with the
posts but not as a news item on the board. I do not know who decides what constitute as news item to
be posted on the board and who post the news item on the board. Any way IBM and Toshiba will be
producing RAMBUS DRAMS in US in a fab plant jointly owned by IBM and Toshiba. IBM is a big
company they use microprocessors producerd by Intel, AMD, by them self, and etc. etc. So what is
the big deal if they will also be using DDR in their products. IBM is also a very large research
organization and they may be working on other DRAM technologies which may never see the light of
the day or will be produced in future 2, 3 or 5 or ... down the road.
One thing you have to understand is that RAMBUS share price has gone out of control and may
correct for a while and then move up. Do not behave like a day trader. RAMBUS technology is great
and will eventually beat others for next 3 to 5 years untill they themself come up with the next
generation of DRAM technology or some other company come up.
As far as the IBM posting as news item is concerned it looks like the work of shorts who want to get
the stock to possibly low 80s and then get long. It is an old news item. You must hold for long term if
you believe in RAMBUS technology.
Intel is around 109 but accounting for splits and if you have brought 10 years ago it would have cost
you $2. So my advice is hold for long term
