Unc - I appreciate your remarks. We would have had the three hundred pts. but the Over Seas People killed us. It is not being right about the forecast as much as needing to get the sideline money in the market. I was hoping we would get that this week. I still see the guys pulling it down another 200 or so pts. next week. Unc it would be presumptuous for me to predict the stock price at earnings time but you can bet your sweet butt they will beat the number.

Stay in touch!

Intel is soaring on news of their new 4Q estimate. Can Dell be far behind?

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- Intel Corp. shares jumped 4.3 percent
Friday morning on reports the company expects fourth-quarter revenue
to rise 8 to 10 percent from the third quarter.

The world's largest chipmaker (INTC) "is on track to hit our
fourth-quarter earnings-per-share estimate of $1.10 on revenues of
$7.6 billion," said Credit Suisse First Boston analyst Scott
Nirenberski in a note to clients.

Intel shares rose 4 3/4 to 114 1/4

"We expect revenues to be up 12% sequentially from 3Q98 and believe the
company is on track to at least meet our estimates quarter-to-date.
Revenues are strong across virtually every segment and product line,"
he also said.

The company gave a presentation to investors Thursday at a conference
hosted by Credit Suisse First Boston.
