By third party, I mean certainly not someone like MSFT. That is absurd. I am referring to some of these third party demo program anthologies that occasionally get thrown together, for a charge of course, to share distribution costs, (turn a profit for the guys putting it together, naturally), and operate very much like these advertising value packs of coupons, that get thrown into some sort of wide broadcast distribution channel.

Don't soil your laundry thinking about much more than this. Because even if it were MSFT, you can bet that the main impression - the main beneficiary - would be the MSFT corporate image, and if CSHK was on the disk you can bet that there would be plenty of other vendors competing for the attention of the readers. That's why I say a shared third party program would be much less effective. In fact better to hope that it isn't MSFT putting the distribution together.
