Voltaire,

The end result is the same though, confusion on part of the small investor leading to panic trades making market manipulations profitable at the expense of the small investor's pocketbook.

Look, I wouldn't have entered this debate at all if you had not said that it is healthy for the market to drop so that the big houses may re-enter at lower prices after which the market will go back up. Now, to re-enter the market they have to buy the shares at depressed prices from someone other than the big houses, aka the small investor, right? IMHO that's not simple recognition Voltaire - that is more like spreading the myth of the MM's power which becomes reality once small investors start believing in it. Which is a very fine line away from eulogizing.

But I feel that we are going around in circles here and also starting to get personal, so this is going to be the last post by me on this topic. Please fell free to have the last word.

-Apratim.

I don't think its safe to sit outside on the porch tonite.Down this way at 2:PM my old bull Zhivago wandered down by the gulley to take a pee and the bears got im. Now the're starting a bonfire of old fence posts figuring to have barbecue. Lots of coyotes howling too, which used to precede an up market. It didn't work last time tho,but am still checking the data.
