I have received a fax today from my broker regarding some informations related to Newbridge.

The fax mention "US research from Norm Levine - I attended Cowen's telecommunications conference in Boston this week, the most interesting presentation was given by Alan Lutz, the new COO of Newbridge. He was extremly impressive and seems to have an excellent idea of what has to be done at the company to get it on the right path. I had lunch with him and did not get the slightest hint from him that the company would be sold. On the contrary , he talked of the many changes that must be made as if he intends to be there for some time making this a winning company. I will not comment on the current valuation of the stock but this is one impressive manager".

Good night all

Luc

Do you know when Pascoe left Newbridge? I don't recall him leaving, but then again there have been so many changes this year that it's hard to keep track.

I don't know when he officially left, but I do recall his being one of the first changes in management Alan made when he came on board. When I saw today's announcement from PairGain, I thought, "Wow, that was fast." But, perhaps it wasn't.
