I guess being from such common stock myself, I hadn't noticed anything worth apologizing for... <vbg>

As for this market, I should amplify my opinion. I believe that without another financial shock to the system, such as a default or such, this market can go higher.

With a shock, I see a flight to bonds and precious metals, but bonds first as folks run out of upside and need another stable place to park their money.

I read somewhere that this bear market promises to be different in that we'll be seeing various currencies and markets whipsawed up and down. Personally, the only two relativly safe market places are Europe and the US. So I'm betting bonds make it down to 3% by 2000 as suggested by Ed Yardeni, economist for DMG.
