As usual, good points Thean. I agree with you completely, my prior post notwithstanding. I don't know how one can trade without using technicals, but I think it's important to understand the underlying fundamentals within in which you are operating. It's painfully obvious that an excess of attention to fundamentals can cause you to miss out on short-term opportunities. Trading is all about timing, and the fundamentals alone don't give you that. I should add though, that there are many successful traders and investors who use fundamentals exclusively. OO7
