sun,

My TC filters include ones to find hammers and dojis, gaps, volume spikes, sharp pullbacks against the trend, short sales, and a couple of others.

In about 3-4 weeks, my web site is starting a daily page where we'll be posting the scan results, along with daily chart analysis from a number of partnership sites. We're hoping to have a real useful morning page for traders to check into each day.

Alan

sun,

Should also add that I stay informed on market news but don't drive myself crazy searching for the hot stocks. I check into briefing.com in the morning, Bloombergs stock page and CBS Marketwatch. Also Dreyfuss has real good stats on prior day volume surges at:

tradepbs.com

I only watch CNBC for about 10 minutes each day while I'm shaving and brushing my teeth. I never listen to it during the day.
