I can't help but come back to two points I repeat over & over regarding this company: 1. Platinum management 2. Hiring of the BEST design talent I believe like you that upgrades are coming, and that would mosty likely come from our good analyst Arun Veerppaan of BA Robert Stephens, who if it does happen, will have upgraded, then downgraded, then upgraded SMTC all within the period of approximately 9 months. Can you say waffle? I looked at the 3 year chart when you mentioned it, and already drew those trend lines, as well as a set of regression lines and fibonacci fans. The new lines seemed to be a little steeper, but well within the scope of being similar. I think my point is that Stu was correct in looking at how there could be justification for much more price movement based on current earnings estimates. But, based on the two factors above, SMTC is going to do eactly that, GROW EARNINGS going forward. They will accomplish this because this management KNOWS how to do it, KNOWS the market they serve is ready to explode, and KNOWS what best to do to accomplish this. Also, hiring the BEST design talent allows SMTC to secure a good portion of new competitive design wins, which also provides for additional revenue and earnings growth. If I remember hearing right during the conference call, the DELL 1144 product is going to begin generating substantial earnings next quarter. If that is the case, then the table has already been set for an upgrade ... and all this action is simply positioning by the BIG BOYS prior to their "sudden realization" that SMTC should have earnings revised upward. Give me a break, like the fact just fell from the sky, or a little birdie whispered it in their ear, yeah right! Hey John, was the second block of 25K yours? MERRY MERRY Christmas if it was :o) Regards, JB
