Surely the world - for all its mass - doesn't collapse this slowly. The small business owners will all buy new PCs and deduct them from taxable income because the purchases were Y2K-related. I just read in the Economist that Asia as a whole is growing at 3%. economist.com The article also details growth projections for other regions and they are all positive. While I'm no polyanna, I've decided to grow horns. :) It also makes life on this thread a lot easier. Gottfried
