Lars: In the spirit of Ralphie, can we give Ralphie ranges? If so, I see the DOW closing between 6500 and 12000. Take it to the bank!

* CONTEST UPDATE * Justa isn't the only jokester here. We have some very smart threaders. Some have offered to submit their estimates on the last trading day of the year. That is what I get for posting too late at night. I forget to think of all the rules. I thought everyone would post in a couple of days. Wow, there is going to be some tough competition for Ralphie! HA! ALSO, we have had a great response from people who normally don't post on thread. Justa and I encourage you to post. That is what makes the thread great! Here is the first update to rules.
