They can be used in a frisbee like manner, I have discovered.

My kids have a game called "Breadsticks". They stick these dinner breadsticks out of coke bottles (6 1/2 oz.) and hurl them frisbee like from across the room. The object is to decapitate the bread stick without knocking the bottle over.

It beats an earlier form of this game that they called "Oddjob" which didn't include any house cleaning, as you might have supposed, until after the game was over.
