I bought PairGain for the HDSL2 initiative with Level 1 - Not ADSL This is the sleeper product that any CEO with little brains can do something with. The money is in T1 provisioning and HDSL2 puts a T1 on a single pair. The CLECs will go wild with this long before ADSL reaches any critical mass (and all the provisioning problems are solved). I hope the new CEO looks at SI comments. At least Chuck and the guys had the foresight to team with Level 1. They just could not eat their children and jeopardize RBOC contracts. Now that BA is gone, the landscape has changed and this should convince Pair that they have to move on and place on bets on the new kids on the street because their old friends are kicking them out. Its a watershed for Pair. They have an opportunity to make it big time.
