Economist] look like growth IS slowing, but not becoming negative
overall. The world is, of course, interlinked. That makes it easy
for bear or bull to bolster his case. Just scan the web for a story
to back your desired scenario.

I don't think the impact of the Furbies can be underestimated for this rally and the relative strength in the sector. I am surprised that analysts have not discussed this huge move to Furbies to be child compliant by December 25, 1998. Obviously this has been a "Furby Rally," and on that basis alone the analysts should be reiterating their buy ratings today for AMAT.
