Do something lead follow or get out of the way. Looks like we have our leader Lutz. Now its time for him to do something. First thing is to declare his wife first lady of NN and as such give her the right to be any age she wants and have every day her birthday. If I were Global One I would wait til day the market is not in reverse to make a major announcement. Happy unbirthday Ms. Lutz and don't go in the rose garden or near the spinning wheel.

Jim,

Rogers @Home service is an Ethernet type arrangement - i.e. you share the available bandwidth with whomever else in your neighbourhood happens to be using the @Home service at the same time you wish to.

Thus when you're alone on the net, you get about 500Kb. When you're sharing it with 10 others, your share drops substantially. And if one of your neighbours decides to download a 20 minute porno movie, you don't get any bandwidth for a long time.

Given Rogers track record for atrocious service to its customers, it's also quite possible that they're just not delivering what you're paying for.

Ian.

(P.S. In case it wasn't obvious, I hold Rogers in the same esteem level that I reserve for Mutual Fund Managers and Stock Brokers)
