I am lookintg for 2 19-21 " reburbed monitors,where is the best place to buy?I am also looking for a company to build a trading machine for me and recommendations for same.I remember streetwalker posting a company that would do this and also a good place to buy monitors but cannot find the posts.Enjoy the thread,hope everyone has a merry christmas.

I am afraid to look at those new monitors you mentioned --- I'd probably like 'em too! Then I'd have to have em ...

The viewsonic 21" are making my 3 year old 17" viewsonics look kinda dingy. So I'll probably set at least one 17" aside as emergency backup and shift to 21"ers ... if I can get a good price.

I'm trying to manage my gotta have 'em urge in the mid-priced area of the price curve. <g>

Please let us know if you see the tractor-trailor unloading @MR and/or Armadillo!

Re the Silicon Graphics 1600SW flat panel:

I went to the technical specifications page and found the refresh rate is 1600x1024 pixels at 60 Hz, 110 dpi.

In the CRT world a refresh rate of 60 Hz isn't very desirable (causes eye strain, etc.). Do you happen to know if that applies to the flat-panel world too?
