jg cordes: What I want to know about this thread is how many acutally trade the DOW or SP up and down. There's a lot of hot air between analysis and a good trade.

Well, I trust the analyst on this thread will post less gut feel and more analysis with support than most. It is not a requirement to trade the IND/DJI or SPX to post here. However, I am sure many do.

I often use my stock analysis, coupled with my Market analysis and others Market analysis to judge weather or not to trade a particular stock! You know, as evidenced by the last few days, the Market can impact individual issues.

So, the tenor of this thread is to be tolerant of all views and all discussion is to be conducted in a cordial and respectful manner.

Thanks for you input and I trust you will continue to post as you are always worth the read.

EDIT: In the past, when I managed individuals, I would on occasion have a employee complain about anothers performance. Often the "others" performance was up to standard, but not as good as the one complaining. I would always tell them, if everyone was as good as you, you would be normal...think about it!

LG

<Now here's dedication..>

When the World Trade Center was bombed...fortunately, I was talked into having a fast beer else I would have been on the PATH platform, right next to where the explosion hit....when it was bombed I called a friend at Solomon Brothers in World Trade #7 to see what he was going to do; I needed a ride home.

They practically had to drag him out of the building, he had one or two thousand option contracts to close out and by God he was going to get them out of the way.

I ended up taking the ferry.
