David has a credible track record and has offered
solid insight into Fed activity for ,maybe, 20 years.
I wouldn't ignore his opinion and place him in the
upper quartiles for analytical and forecast accuracy.

AR, You only survive in that business by being wishy-washy and being all things to all viewers/readers. You have to phrase every statement so that it can be interpreted the way the market eventually turns out.

That being said, I think Jones is above average for an economist. I don't read every word he says, like I do with Richebacher or Galbraith, but I don't throw it away when I see his name, as I do with Abby Jo.
