Perhaps. But they are trashing day traders every chance they get. Who do they thnk watches them? Floor traders? We internet investor/traders have stung Wall Street. To save face they came roaring back with the following:1. Rumors of FED intervention in internets2. Raised margins at some brokerages.3. Bombarded the media with lies about daytraders ruining everyones long-term investments.4. Complained to government agencies and asked for investigation.5. Attacked after-market boards, asking for SEC regulation.6. Released downgrades on BAMM and WAVO just to squash run for selfish reasons. Do we have them back on their heals or what???? I propose we move with even more confidence. The Wall Street fat cats need to start sharing some of that wealth. From the bedrooms and dens of homes across America and beyond, we say what will fly and what won't. The analysts are suddenly shrugged off as WE determine which companies will win and which will lose on the internet and high-techs...on our own home turf. They attacked us with a concerted effort. We cover and hide for now, but we should use the same united cunning in return. Looking for single digits internets again. How 'bout you? Rande Is

Thanks, Sandra and all. I liked Joe and NASDBULL's Yee-hawws.
YEE-HAAW is our battle cry.
WE ARE THE NEW REVOLUTION. . . of PATRIOT TRADERS.
When they come for our taxes...we dump the tea.
When Wall Street talks. . . we listen all right. . . we buy the downgrades and we short the upgrades and we laugh all the way to the bank.

Already we are very very fast at making decisive decisions based on DD [technical, trading patterns or otherwise]. We get in and out not too unlike the big boys. But there is one element that is in short supply on the street. . . we work together. And that is what scares them.
Imagine for a sec all the different trading rooms and bulletin boards and chat rooms that traders use. If we were ever to gravitate toward just one or two of these, the power of our knowledge and unity would be overwhelming.

The more united we become, the stronger our voice becomes. The stronger our voice, the more we tip the scales of injustice. With scales tipped in our favor, we make more money. And when we make more money we can't help but become more united.

Rande-great post Cunning strategy?? Fight fire with fire...with a flame thrower?.. To fight back in a unified manner takes a concerted strategy and I am at a loss at how "mere confidence" will shake the power that controls the media and sets the tone against day trading. A simple and effective counter strategy (guerrilla tactic) is offered.... RUMOR--- CNBC and some co-conspirators are under SEC investigation for conspiring to short internet stocks during the November 30, December 1, 2 trading sessions by mentioning false and specific unsubstantiated information: 1. Rumors of FED intervention in internets2. Raised margins at some brokerages.3. Bombarded the media with lies about daytraders ruining everyones long-terminvestments.4. Complained to government agencies and asked for investigation.5. Attacked after-market boards, asking for SEC regulation.6. Knowingly released unsubstantiated downgrades on several stocks to squash run for personal self gain.. BUT FIRST-I suggest that every day trader e-mail the SEC requesting that they investigate the premeditated and timed conspiracy...so the rumor has merit and that as good citizens we are merely reporting a suspected crime and.....we can honestly state that the SEC is looking into it and that we encourage others to e-mail the SEC. The net effect of such a rumor is that CNBC will get the message loud and clear that they should be "very" careful to contain their internet hatred and abstain from being the pawn of Wall Street Pundits that despise the power of the internet. Besides, if they were put under oath....I wonder how loud they would sing????...... Smoke, fire, flamethrower...I suggest that we let CNBC know that internet traders have some power of their own.....Any thoughts??? The Alaskan

Alaskan,
Yes. I nominate you as committee member of the "Voice of the Revolution."
