What is the logic of "inside" major players not allowing WCII to go too far from its current postion.

BTW who are these guys?

Why is WCII blessed with such "insiders"? Could we persuade them to go and not allow say AOL or AMZN not to go too far from their current postitions and leave WCII to behave as if it were a normal everyday share on a stock market.

Regards,

L

The thing I don't understand is that it appears that this is the worst time to short the stock. If you consider:

1. P To MP technology is being deployed which presents an extremely compelling cost savings opportunity to potential clients, and

2. they have the resources of Lucent, and

3. Marketing program is really taking off,

this combination appears to bode extremely well for them in 1999 and beyond. The only thing that could be wrong with this picture is if the technology somehow doesn't work reliably. This doesn't seem to be the case however. It wouldn't be the first time the shorts were very wrong about a stock. Based on last quarter's conference call, I expect a very good report for year end quarter. If the stock dips back to the low 20's, I'll go long some more.
