Buying more at near open. EP's laughing with Management? ok, I'll think positive. We've all had so much reason to be cynical, but this time I don't think he's laughing just about Jimbo!!!

Victor: I only meant that Cramer and Greenberg are just entertainment. TSC has many great writers who do some really good stuff. My advice to anyone taking the free trial offer would be to read everything BUT Cramer and Greenberg!

Oh, you're going to love this - I got responses back from First Call and Zacks. I'm not making this up . . .

In a message dated 98-12-02 08:35:34 EST, you write:

<< Would you tell me how your earnings estimates are derived? Are they an average of analysts' estimates or a "consensus" - what most analysts think?

Thanks for your email and your interest in First Call!

You're exactly right that we derive our consensus from an average of analysts'
individual earnings estimates.

First Call

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Zacks!

Analysts provide earnings estimate revisions to Zacks Investment Research
each day. Zacks Investment Research collates these various estimate
revisions
and derives a consensus estimate of all the analysts who are following a
particular stock. The data is updated weekly and is derived entirely from
a multi-factor quantitative model which analyzes the momentum of analysts'
earnings estimate revisions and earnings surprises. Changes in investor
expectations are the primary cause of changes in the price of a stock.
Zacks rankings are only calculated for stocks covered by two or more
analysts.
