Jeff and TM You both want to rain on this parade, but like the macy's thanksgiving event this year, the rain won't stop the action. I don't want to argue about it, but I strongly disagree with all of your negative silliness. the fact is we will see how wrong you are soon. I do worry about sunw stepping up and bidding $5 for ccur, however. That would surely be a smarter move than "spending $100 million on r&d" while the clock starts ticking louder. Two random notes: The Cowen analyst reported that gic spent most of its time at the cable show talking about rolling out digital. The ladenburg analyst is out today with a note that gic is increasing production (again) of its dst2000. I realize this is not stunning; but it is confirming evidence. Where is the competition? Have they sold anything to anyone?
