Joy will work closely with Chief Technology Officer, Greg Papadopoulos, and Chief Strategy Officer, Bill Raduchel, and will take an active leadership role in determining Sun's future technological development and direction.

"Since Sun's founding, Bill has been the inspiration behind some of the company's most significant and successful technological breakthroughs," said Scott McNealy, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Sun Microsystems, Inc. Technically today action indicate SUNW will pull back next week. The upgrade did not help much. See if I am right.
