But IMO, after the drug of new technology wore off, there was a
period of economic slow down..

circa: the 30's after the great period of industrialization of the
teens to 20's..

circa: the late 1800's after the railroad empires were built.

Maybe a arguement can be made that new technology comes on at the
end of a business cycle because of the necessity of prolonging it..

I don't know.. just a thought.. good luck today..
