Canadian Sales of Life Line Product!!! Here is the latest News Release from the company. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday December 11, 4:59 pm Eastern Time Company Press Release SOURCE: Safe Environment Engineering Canada Inc. Safe Environment Engineering Canada Inc. announces initial Canadian sales of Life - line(TM) VANCOUVER, Dec. 11 /CNW-PRN/ - Safe Environment Engineering Canada Inc. Trading Symbol: SFU (ASE) Don White, Vice-president Marketing, Safe Environment Engineering Canada Inc. announced today initial sales of the Life - line™ system have been made in Canada. Sales for Safe Environment Engineering Canada Inc. exceed $100,000 Cdn for December 1998 and the first equipment deliveries were made to distributors including Manalive Systems Inc., a Life - line™ service contractor based in Red Deer, Alberta. The first Life - line™ system delivered is intended for use in the petroleum and petrochemical industry in Canada and was delivered to Manalive technical personnel attending factory based training at Safe Environment facilities located near Los Angeles, California. The Life - line™ system for Manalive is intended to be utilized to enhance the safety of personnel entering some of the many thousands of confined and hazardous locations that exist in the petroleum and petrochemical industry. Utilization of the Life - line™ system will augment and improve the safety standards for thousands of workers that currently use the labor intensive ''man in sight'' and ''buddy'' systems to protect workers that are exposed to the daily hazards of ''confined space''. Manalive principal and technician Bill Sambrook drew a parallel between the present systems utilized by the petroleum industry and the Life - line™ system. He stated ''It's like replacing the horse and buggy with the automobile. It looks so very simple, yet it is very sophisticated. Considering that we have had computers and radios around for many years, I'm surprised it took so long for this concept to be developed.'' Mr. Sambrook predicted that the Life - line™ system will fast become the standard for safety in the petroleum industry in Canada. Manalive Systems of Red Deer, Alberta is a new company and one of three recently appointed service contractors for the Life - line™ system in Western Canada. Safe Environment Engineering Canada Inc. is the exclusive distributor of the Life - line™ system for Canada and Alaska. Safe Environment Engineering develops, supplies and installs communications systems, which integrate wireless telemetry and voice communication to transmit information. The Company uses this technology in its Life - line™ safety management system, which enables real time simultaneous monitoring of entrants to confined spaces or hazardous locations. In current applications Life - line™ is utilized to manage and monitor the safety of craftspersons working within aircraft and ships undergoing construction and maintenance by the US Navy, the US Airforce, and various aircraft manufacturers.
