Deef, It took two years for a Democratic majority to get Tricky Dick, and he actually committed high crimes by trying to rig a Presidential election. It is hard to nail a President who is ruthless and stonewalling.

I agree about the Democratic hypocrisy. Ditto for the lambasting of the Special Prosecutor. When Nixon slammed the series of prosecutors he hired and fired, the Demos were very shocked. Now, when this Starr guy, basically fights the full power of the White House to get at part of the truth, he is a crumb. That is a slimy turn of face and the Dems should be ashamed.

Defrocked (that sounds like a Clinton aftermath<G>):

Clinton wouldn't have lasted long enough to be censured or impeached for his sexual misconduct and perjury had he been labeled a Republican. He would have been ridden out of town on a rail for his suggesting maybe we should suspend the Bill of Rights for people living in public housing (allowing searches without a warrant).

Defrocked, also in Clinton's favor is the left-wing bias of the mainstream media. While I do not know many of the details of the transfer of satellite technology to China which benefitted Loral whose Chaiman Bernie Scwartz was a major donor to the democratic party I do believe much more would have been made of it had it been a republican president. I seem to recall hearing that defense department was against this but i guess a draftdodger knows more about national security than career military men. If anyone can add some details to the story I would be interested to hear. While i was watching the movie " Saving Private Ryan" - I was disgusted to think about Clinton being Commander in Chief. My father and five of my uncles served in WWII. One uncle participated in the Normandy invasion and another was a marine in the pacific who participated in IWO JIMA . They never talked about it much like most Vets that I have talked to but it must have been horrible. Mike - not a fan of Bill Clinton!

Re: "More actions like the following:" [11 percent growth in M2 & M3]

1. Do you feel that the bond/currency markets will "discipline" the Fed if the rate of growth remains the same? If the rate of growth increases? If the rate of growth decreases slowly?

2. How low do you think that the money supply growth should be, given the current world economic conditions?

Thanks,
