David,

Personally, I think the guy should be spanked!

However, I like both Republican options:

1) Censure with a fine and a signed statement
by the President admitting wrongdoing.

2) Removal from office.

At anyrate, Bubba is the lamest of the lame-
duck Presidents. He has only 2 years left
and the next Congress will be Republican
controlled. He can do no harm now. We
finally got him where we want him!

David, I respectfully disagree. <<The only question now is what should Clinton's punishment be>>

The question should be what should we do to rescue the constitution of the United States. The fulfillment of the Constitution is the establishment of truth and justice for one and all. At this point if the polls frequently quoted on this thread are correct, this issue has been largely ignored in deciding 'punishment'. That's because BC and his devotees think he is too cool to be considered in this light. If fulfillment of the US constitution is important the answer to your question would have been clear to us all a long time ago. It isn't about doing anything to bill clinton. It is about establishing integrity in the oval office. BC has gotten to big for the britches we provided for him. He has damaged the integrity of the Oval Office and blocked the fulfillment of the constitution of the US in the process. It is now a character issue and you are not going to fix that with censor. It is not appropriate to punish him and everyone knows it. Impeachment is a corrective mechanism designed to check the balance of government, not a punishment. If he is embarrassed about it, he should be. His behavior has brought this on us all. If that is punishing to him, it is a natural consequence of his own behavior, not one imposed by us.
