Another great week for the semi-equips - this makes it 8 weeks in a row. For the last 8 weeks the group of 41 semi-equips has gained 90 percent while the SOX-X has gained 72 percent. All but 5 of the group, SMTL, SFLX, CFMT, UTEK and WJ, are up over 50 percent. 17 of the stocks are up 100 percent or more, and 3 of the group, AFLX, ASYT and ASEC are up over 200 percent (note they all start with the letter A :). AFLX and ASYT switched 1st and 2nd place again this week. The group also, for the first time in quite awhile, closed above its 1997 low point by 2 percent. It now "only" has to gain another 88 percent to reach its high point in 1997.
