CB, Not buying anything from China is getting harder all the time. They are now our second largest trading partner. And goods are not that clearly marked, except for clothing.

I am kind of a flag disdainer, though I would never burn it. But I think it is akin to idol worshipping and da chillun of Israel do not bow down. <G> And I hate the concept of standing for The Star Spangled Banner, especially at sporting events. "And the Home of the brave." Now, Mike Tyson will bite off Evander Holyfield's ear. <G> When I was in the Army, sure. I was in service to the govt. and the flag is a war banner. But as a civilian who believes in freedom, I find our fixation on a colored rag a bit disconcerting. If someone else wants to worship it, I have no problem. I just don't think they should force their views on other folks in the society at large.

And don't get me started on "The Pledge of Allegiance." <G>
