Thanks so much for all the content in your reply regarding IBI and your stock selection criteria. I understand more fully how you make your selections and I too, wish I had been in IBI sooner. I suppose it remains in your horizon and when it pops up technically favorably you will let us know?

Importance of VOLUME.. today's watch list.. Post number 19536.. I've gotten some comments about the previous posts but when I re-read I noted I 'glossed over' something important. In IBI I mentioned: "you have had 2 major uptrends in this one and the volume patterns are picture perfect as well" I should have elaborated at what to look for to determine 'picture perfect' volume pattern.

One of the most distinguishing characteristics of 'good' stocks are volume ratios. When a stock like QLGC, CMVT, has its inevitable correction the volume is particularly low on pullbacks and very high on breakouts to the upside.. that is why it is a must before you decide your stock is really under ACCUMULATION to have high volume.. I personally use the volume 1/30 day 150%.. parameter meaning volume on day of breakout or impending breakout is 150% more than average 30 day volume for that stock.
