I wonder how best we use
this information? What do you think?

Be aware that any rally is likely to be a bear market rally until further notice. This has been my position since October 8. Looking back over the last 70 years of the Summation Index on Decision Points Site we should be looking for a new higher peak to signal the return of the Bull Market for sure.

On fundamentals I see Dow=6000 as fair value when people realize that current analyst projections for 99 US earnings are plain wrong. Then there can well be significant Y2K probs. eg Yardeni notes that Chevron admit they won't finish the job in time. Also people will realize that Japan won't be recovering in this time frame.

Then wait and see what a crash to 6000 does to stock options schemes and other tricks.

What do you think?
