Aloha to you too and welcome to the thread grasshopper!

My co-worker heard on CNBC about 2 days ago that they expect this thing to be around $60 when it opens to the public.
Watch out on those market orders!

Andretti

Internet Technologies they are currently working on:

TECHNOLOGY FROM THE OUTPOST ACQUISITION

In June 1998, the Company acquired Outpost, which included the acquisition
of the Outpost Technology and the hiring of approximately ten employees. In
the second quarter of 1998, the Company wrote off approximately $2.8 million
in connection with the Outpost acquisition.

------------------------
Within the acquired Outpost Technology (smart-shopping services) there are
four main modules that the Company intends to integrate into the InfoSpace.com
Web site. These modules in their developed state as of the acquisition date of
Outpost had certain technological limitations. Subsequent to the acquisition
date, the Company revised its strategy with respect to the transaction proxy
module, with the result being that most of the in-process technology was
discarded. Accordingly, no value was assigned to this module in connection
with the Company's valuation of the assets acquired from Outpost. The four
modules are:

. Integrated content that will provide users with product pricing and
merchant information.

. Transaction proxy that will allow the Company to track sales transactions
from beginning to end and to receive confirmation reports from the
retailers.

. Branding that will allow users to travel to affiliate Web sites without
leaving the InfoSpace.com Web site.

. Universal shopping cart that will allow users to make multiple purchases
at different retailers in one execution.

--------------------------

The last two modules will make internet shopping very convenient and efficient (IMO). Just imagine, several stores available in one website where you can "shop till you drop" then check out and make your payment ONCE.

Andretti
