Ernie, you were told yesterday everyone was in a meeting. Today I was told some of what went on in that meeting, and it is as follows: I apologize to all investors for not getting this to you prior to this, but will not accept all of the blame. I had this nearly completed at on time on the message board and AOL knocked me off line. I will now write it through word pad and paste it here, as I should have done in the beginning. Well, enough of my woes, let's move on to the important stuff. First of all, I want to make one thing very clear, I am not a basher, MM or hypester. I am merely an investor, PERIOD I called (much to my embarrassment) American International Industries Inc. for the first time this morning, and I'm quite pleased with what I was told by Delisa (works with Rebecca in her office). Rebecca is to return my call when she is out of the meeting. In the meantime, I will report to you what Delisa had to say. In asking her why we had not seen the 10SB filing yet today, she said "there is no reason you should see it today." I told her that "word" had it that we were to see the filing today. She said "noone from this office has told you that." She said "before we go any further, being it is your first time calling, let me tell you what is happening right now. Yesterday, (Thursday) every Chief Board Member from every company in EDII, from all over the world had a meeting. In this meeting, Charles Duehurst (head honcho) of BDO reported that the financial report was in the hands of the Review Committee of BDO. They were scrutinizing it with a fine toothed comb and preparing a back up for any questions the SEC might have. He said the only reason for the November 23rd delay was that the main person (sorry, forgot to ask the name) working on this report had, indeed, been hospitalized. The new date Mr. Duehurst and BDO were aiming for now is December 10th, but no later than the 15th." Delisa said "EDII has been inundated with calls of people complaining about the delay." She said "We at American International apologize for the delay, but can only rely on what BDO tells them about the status of the report." She added that everyone at EDII is very pleased with everything that has transpired thus far. They are very proud of the progress the company has made to this point. I (as I'm sure all of you do) listened for her to faulter at any point in her conversation, and she never skipped a beat. She was very professional, very polite and very accommodating to anything I wanted to know. I would suggest to anyone that is simply relying on this or any other board for their information, as I had been doing, to call the company and hear it from someone who truly knows what they are talking about. Don't set here and read "he said the told guy told him this or that" or "I heard from this guy, that this other guy said this or that." We talked for about ten to fifteen minutes about a lot of different things, but what I just reported was the only thing pertinent at this time. As a matter of fact, she called me back to tell me "Just to clarify the expected date of the 10th or 15th.........It is December. Just so there is no future confusion." She had only mentioned the 10th or 15th in our previous conversation. She had not said the month. I hope this is of some help to the investors here, because I know what is coming from the non-investors about this post, and that's fine with me. I know that I know what I know from this phone call. Let the bashing begin. Jim
